Aleveithan Chris has produced covers of songs that I didn't think were coverable. I thought they were too iconic, and yet, he's truly captured their energy while not producing a simple remake. I admire that a lot :) Favorite track: Take Me Out.

guildfordlilly ‘Left to my own devices’ is sang in such a mischievous way I can’t help but chuckle. Great covers all around!

catopig This Northern chap keeps picking tracks which make you want to shout "can't do that, burn the heretic!" but then annoyingly he doesn't completely f*ck them up so then you have to shout "burn the musical witch!" instead. it's exhausting.
I'm old fashioned so my initial favourite has to be the world's first emo song. Favorite track: Paint It, Black.

the_real_doctor_jeep After a first listen, this is as much another brilliant celebration of great music in a labour of love as expected, but that German Film Star version really is something else. A whole new flavour of Catalyst. Set on repeat. Favorite track: I'm In Love With A German Film Star.
